Film is a storytelling mechanism that truly transcends all others. It generates the ability to show, not tell. Turning limitations into advantages is a part of the art of cinematography. The story always comes first and is always the primary motivation of his approach to lighting and camera work. However, art is not easy and one is always learning.
His goal is to try and make his director’s world visible while remaining as invisible as possible. Qualification wise, he holds a postgraduate degree from Sheridan college in Cinematography and has had the privilege to assist Sudeep Chatterjee in Bajirao Mastani, amongst a horde of other shorter projects.
